Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a professional undergraduate medical degree awarded by medical schools in countries that follow the tradition of the United Kingdom. The historical degree nomenclature suggests that they are two separate undergraduate degrees; however, in practice, they are usually treated as one and awarded together.

Curriculum

The MBBS course is designed to train students in all fields of medicine and surgery. It typically involves 4.5 to 5.5 years of study followed by a mandatory internship.
