Ravish Kumar (born December 5, 1974) is an Indian journalist and former Senior Executive Editor at NDTV India. He is known for his ground reports and independent journalism, and was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2019.

Early Life and Education

Born in Motihari, Bihar, Ravish Kumar completed his education in Delhi. He is a graduate of Delhi University and later obtained a degree in broadcasting from IIMC (Indian Institute of Mass Communication).

Career

NDTV India

Ravish Kumar joined NDTV in 1996 and became one of the most recognized faces of Hindi journalism in India. He hosted Prime Time and Ravish Ki Report, shows known for their focus on common citizens and grassroots issues.
